How To Be Blessed With Peace
Are you stressed? overwhelmed? fearful? The incredible promises of peace in God’s word are for YOU. Unfortunately, even though we know this, there is often a disconnect between what we know and what we do; a disconnect between what we want and what we’re actually experiencing. God has promised us peace; we want peace, we need peace — but we’re not getting it. Why? What can we do to get it? Philippians 4
4 Therefore, my brothers and sisters, you whom I love and long for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, dear friends!
2 I plead with Euodia and I plead with Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord. 3 Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.

And the God of peace will be with you.

“If you take a need to the Lord and you just start fussing about it and fussing about not having it, you’ll feel worse when you’re done praying that you were when you started. Instead, you pray with thanksgiving. It gives us a whole new perspective. Guess who’s in control? God. Guess who has what I need? God. Do we end our prayer as though we’re not going to get it? Or do we end our prayer with thanksgiving and praise because we know that He has made the promise and He is going to do what He promised to do?”
